BCB graduate student Brittanie Winfield was invited to present her talk, titled 鈥淩obust Peritraumatic Immune System Activation Improves Pain Recovery Following Traumatic Stress Exposure,鈥� at the Fall 2024 BACPAC Meeting.聽

The Linnstaedt Lab is a proud collaborator on the Disentangle project, a study focused on identifying differences in traumatic brain injury and neuropsychiatric outcomes of trauma exposure. 聽Both Dr. McKibben and Erica Branham presented their recent data related to this ongoing study.

BCB graduate student Brittanie Winfield was selected to present a short talk at the 2nd Annual Duke Maixner Pain Research Symposium. In addition, she was awarded a Clinical/Translational Science Poster Presentation Award in recognition of her impactful research advancing the understanding and treatment of pain.
