Dr. Linnstaedt enjoyed meeting with other pain scientists and SLE researchers to discuss the biology of pain and discuss future avenues of discovery that better elucidate mechanisms of chronic pain in SLE sufferers. This conference was well attended by pain scientists, experts in autoimmunity, neuroscientists, and patients with SLE.

Dr. Linnstaedt is honored to have been named a Rita Allen scholar in 2020 and at this year鈥檚 annual meeting, enjoyed presenting and hearing about the incredible research from other Rita Allen scholars. The meeting this year was held in Princeton NJ.

Eight members of the Linnstaedt Lab attended and presented posters at the 大象传媒 Department of Anesthesiology’s Celebration of Research. Linnstaedt Lab members including Esther, Jarred, Ying, Lauren, Rhea, Liz, Jacqueline, Brittania, and Simran publish their manuscript 鈥淔urther evidence that peritraumatic 17尾-estradiol levels influence chronic posttraumatic聽pain聽outcomes in women, data from both humans and animals鈥� in PAIN.
