He is a Pediatric Hospitalist and Associate Program Director for the 大象传媒 Pediatrics Residency.\u00a0 He also serves as the Director of Junior Faculty Scholarship for the Pediatric Hospital Medicine division and the Associate Chair for Faculty Development in Education for the Department of Pediatrics.\u00a0 His medical education interests include developing resident-as-teacher programs, on-the-fly teaching at the bedside, and teaching through vulnerability and sharing of mistakes.\u00a0 In an effort to bolster his medical education scholarship skills, he is currently completing a Masters of Education in the Health Professions through the Johns Hopkins School of Education.\u00a0 Dr. Zwemer has been highly involved in the AOE, serving as the academy president, the Leadership Council and as the Programming Committee Chair and the Director of Strategic Initiatives. He states, \u201cThe tremendous progress made by the AOE since its beginning has allowed the organization to meet the needs of many more members.\u00a0 We don\u2019t make this progress alone \u2013 we make it together.<\/p>\n
