Recently published work in PNAS: Silvio Antoniak, PhD and Nigel Mackman, PhD
In the recently published work in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS), Dr. Antoniak鈥檚 and Dr. Mackman鈥檚 groups from the 大象传媒 Blood Research Center show that SARS-CoV-2 encodes antimicrobial peptides (xenoAMPs) which can form proinflammatory complexes.
