Our institute works closely with research teams across all major areas of child health at 大象传媒, collaborating with partners across the U.S. and abroad. Together, we make groundbreaking discoveries and translate them into improved health outcomes for children everywhere.<\/p>\n<h3>Our Vision<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>To lead the nation in pioneering research that transforms the understanding and treatment of pediatric diseases.<\/li>\n<li>To build a collaborative network bringing together experts and critical partners from diverse fields to tackle today&#8217;s most critical challenges in children&#8217;s health.<\/li>\n<li>To ensure that we&#8217;re ready for tomorrow&#8217;s biggest challenges by providing critical mentorship and opportunities for the next generation of pediatric researchers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Major Program Areas<\/h3>\n<p>Some of the major program areas we support include:<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-6262\" src=\"https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/childrensresearch\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/967\/2025\/03\/research-300x200.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/childrensresearch\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/967\/2025\/03\/research-300x200.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/childrensresearch\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/967\/2025\/03\/research.jpeg 400w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proposal Development and Program Management \u2013 we work with teams of all sizes and experience levels to plan for, submit, and manage investigator-initiated research projects.
