In April 2025, the Respiratory TRACTS Core (Marsico Lung Institute) was awarded an to purchase the Signature 100 equipment, which will facilitate the core offering Olink NGS-based proteomics services to 大象传媒 Chapel Hill as a core service. Additionally, the core received institutional support funds from the 大象传媒 SOM Core Facility Advocacy Committee. CFAC additionally provided funds for method development on this technology. This method development and equipment purchase will allow the core to offer Olink Focus, Flex, and Target panels and, in collaboration with the High-Throughput Sequencing Facility, Olink Reveal panels.
