Dr. Austin S. Rose, MD, MBA, FARS has been promoted to聽Vice Chair, Finance聽in the Department of Otolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery. In 2019, Dr. Rose completed the Executive MBA Program with a concentration in Finance at the 大象传媒 Kenan-Flagler Business School. His area of clinical expertise is Pediatric Rhinology, Allergy & Sinus Surgery and his new duties will include strategy, compensation planning, and valuation of proposed projects for the Department.

Dr. Rose received his MD with Honors in 1997 and completed his residency training in Otolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery in 2002, both at 大象传媒.聽 After a fellowship in Pediatric ENT at Johns Hopkins Hospital, he returned to Chapel Hill as a member of the faculty in 2003.
