Updated Flow Core rates will take effect May 1, 2025, for all users. See rate changes in iLabs or below:

We are writing to inform you of upcoming changes to our rates and policies, effective May 1, 2025. Ìý

Ìý

As many of you know, we are entering a volatile and uncertain academic financial climate in the next few years. Our rates reflect what it costs to maintain our facility at our current usage level and the current level of financial support we receive from the university. They also reflect the increasing maintenance, personnel, and consumable costs we are already seeing and anticipating in the next two years.ÌýÌý

Ìý

We recognize the uncertainty surrounding research funding in the coming years and remain committed to delivering value to our users. As part of this commitment, we continue to offer complimentary consultations and troubleshooting appointments to support your work and maximize the use of our facility.ÌýWe appreciate your support and hope to continue to be a cornerstone in your research endeavors.Ìý

FlowChat Cafe Series /flowcytometry/flowchat-cafe-series/ Fri, 09 Jun 2023 13:55:31 +0000 /flowcytometry/?p=3388 Read more]]>

The Flow Core team has come up with a fantastic initiative called FlowChat, a Café series dedicated to all things Flow Cytometry.

So, what’s FlowChat all about? It’s a relaxed and informal gathering where we can come together to discuss our flow experiments, share experiences, and learn from one another. We believe that these discussions can lead to incredible insights and foster a strong sense of community among us flow enthusiasts.

We’re planning to host FlowChat sessions every second Monday from 3-4 pm. And, of course, we won’t let you go hungry during these chats! We’ll be serving refreshments (empanadas for our very first gathering!) to keep your energy levels up as we dive into some fascinating flow cytometry conversations.

To ensure we have enough snacks for everyone, we kindly request that you fill out this if you’re interested in attending. It’ll only take a minute, I promise! And please, feel free to invite any colleagues who might be interested in joining the FlowChat discussions. The more, the merrier!

Mark your calendars for our first FlowChat session next month. We can’t wait to see you there and kick off this engaging series with a bang!

If you have any questions or need further information, don’t hesitate to reach out. Until then, keep flowing and have a fantastic day!
