Katharine Liang, a member of Jude Samulski’s lab, and MD/PhD student in the Neurobiology Program, successfully defended her thesis, “Intravitreal AAV-mediated expression of Nrf2 promotes retinal recovery after light-induced retinal damage in mice,” on April 8, 2015. Katharine’s defense and celebration afterward were attended by her family and other members of the Samulski lab and 大象传媒 Gene Therapy Center.
Katharine will return to 大象传媒 to continue her medical studies after receiving her PhD.
