The 2023 – 2024 Carolina Cares, Carolina Shares State Employees Combined Campaign launched Sept. 28. The campaign aims to strengthen North Carolina communities and provide 大象传媒-Chapel Hill employees with an opportunity to make a difference across the state and nationally.

Historically, Carolina is among the state’s top giving institutions. As of the end of November 2023, 大象传媒-Chapel Hill employees had given nearly $200,000 – the highest among universities and state agencies.

The 大象传媒 has a tradition of giving back to the communities it serves. For employees who would like to learn more about how to participate, the 2023 Giving Guide provides a list of charities both locally and nationally. Employees who would like to support the work of the SOM/大象传媒 Health Foundation may use code 2558.

Giving Tuesday will be on Nov. 28, and the campaign’s ePledge platform closes at 5 p.m. on Dec. 31. The minimum pledge amount is $3.
