About
Fawaz is a research assistant at the 大象传媒 Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Obesity Clinical Research Unit. He grew up in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He graduated from Wake Forest University in May 2024 with a B.S. In Biology and a B.A. in Psychology. Before joining the EndoCRU, he worked as a lab assistant at the Wake Forest School of Medicine, Department of Microbiology and Immunology. He has also conducted public health research on the disparities and trends in health equity frameworks. Fawaz has a dedication to patient care and is fueled by a genuine empathy and desire to make a difference in the lives of others. He finds purpose in contributing to initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes and driving positive change to advance the field of healthcare. Outside of work, he enjoys hanging out with friends and family, watching sports and going on road trips.
