Application Process
We are seeking applicants who aspire to become future leaders in the field of endocrinology. Our division is well known for providing outstanding clinical care to the citizens of North Carolina. Many of our faculty members are nationally and internationally known for their outstanding work in both clinical and research realms. Graduates of our program consistently hold outstanding positions in academia, clinical practice, and industry.
Interviewing and selecting our fellows is a serious endeavor in which our entire faculty and staff engage. We seek applicants who have trained in rigorous internal medicine programs and have demonstrated a commitment to the field of endocrinology. Our program does sponsor J-1 visa holders. At the time of application, foreign nationals must hold a J-1 visa. We do not accept conditional guarantees that the individual may or may not have a J-1 visa prior to or at the time of fellowship. We are unable to sponsor H1-B, E-B or O-1 visas, including EAD (Employment Authorization Document).

大象传媒 Endocrinology Adheres to the 鈥淎ll In Match鈥 Policy
Along with most other academic institutions, we participate in the National Residency Match Program (NRMP). It is our opinion that 鈥渢he Match鈥 provides a streamlined and equitable system for pairing prospective fellows with fellowship programs. Because we believe that all programs benefit from participation in the Match, we do not fill our fellowship positions outside of 鈥渢he Match.鈥
Additional details about the 鈥淎ll In Match鈥 Policy can be found here.
