Lazarina Baez Marinez, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, received a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington (´óÏó´«Ã½W) in 2020. She is currently attending ´óÏó´«Ã½W in pursuit of a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree. She is an American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) board certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). She is affiliated with the University of North Carolina and specializes in nephrology. Since 2019 has worked in the multidisciplinary development team for the dedicated ´óÏó´«Ã½ Pre- Kidney Latino Clinic. She also serves as a member of the Medical Advisory Board (MAB) at the National Kidney Foundation (NKF). Her primary areas of work include dialysis care, chronic kidney disease (CKD) and transplant. Currently holds a dual role as clinical manager and advanced practice provider at ´óÏó´«Ã½ Nephrology and Hypertension. Her areas of interest include population focused care and health inequities.Ìý
