听The fellowship match process starts the summer of third-year residency and ends in December. Applicants prepare applications, they interview, and they rank a list of preferred programs. After the interviews take place, fellowship programs rank their applicants. Then, a national computerized algorithm aligns the preferences of applicants with the preferences of program directors, to produce the best possible matches.
