Endowed professorships honor exceptional achievement and assist in the recruitment or retention of the highest quality faculty for the Department of Medicine.

Established by philanthropic gifts and existing in perpetuity, endowed professorships can support the recipient faculty member鈥檚 salary and research-related expenses including graduate students and support staff, travel, and equipment.
