About

Bina grew up in North Carolina and attended the North Carolina School of Science and Math. She attended East Carolina University for college where she majored in Biology and Hispanic Studies and from there worked for AmeriCorps in Durham prior to the pandemic. Bina has a longstanding interest in Geriatric medicine and is participating as a scholar with the Care of the Older Patient track at 大象传媒. She has continued with her commitment to caring for Spanish speaking patients, working with the 大象传媒 CAMPOS program, as well as her dedication to service with her role as a case manager with the Student Health (SHAC) clinic. In recognition of her outstanding commitment to patient care, Bina was selected by her peers for induction into the Gold Humanism Honor Society.
