Elisha is from England originally and came to the United States with her family as a child and grew up in Florida. She attended the University of Florida for college where she graduated with a degree in psychology. As a medical student, she continued with an interest in global health and was selected for a Fulbright Scholarship during which time she obtained an MSc degree in Global Health in Dublin. In recognition of her outstanding academic performance and her commitment to compassionate patient care, Elisha was inducted into both the AOA and Gold Humanism Honor Societies. Elisha is planning on pursuing a career in Dermatology after her preliminary year. She is excited to be coming to North Carolina and joining her fianc茅 who is a Medicine Pediatrics resident at Duke!
