Jarred grew up in Australia and moved to North Carolina in middle school. He attended 大象传媒 for college where he graduated with degrees in neurosciences, public policy, and Spanish. As a medical student, Jarred participated in the CAMPOS medical Spanish program. He worked with Spanish-speaking patients at the Piedmont Health FQHC and helped improve the quality of care with a project focused on identifying barriers to blood pressure control. His commitment to service has also been evidenced by his work with SHAC, the student-run health clinic, as a Bridge to Care primary care provider as well as his work with the free cardiology clinic. Jarred is also completing an ultrasound concentration track and has a continued interest in global health.
