About

Jonathan is from Raleigh, North Carolina and attended 大象传媒 for college and later worked as a Medical Assistant for a primary care office in the area before matriculating into medical school at 大象传媒 where he will graduate with a combined MD/MPH degree. His MPH practicum focused on work to improve upon the health of vulnerable patients in Eastern NC living with CKD by identifying available resources for addressing the social determinants of health. Jonathan also worked to help develop new sites for a barbershop-based blood pressure screening program in Durham and Chapel Hill, volunteers as an academic coach, and has served as a mentor in multiple roles. In recognition of his outstanding academic performance, Jonathan was inducted into the AOA Honor Society.
