Lauren is from Ohio and graduated from OSU with degrees in molecular genetics and pharmaceutical sciences. After college, she worked for a year as a scribe (during COVID) and clinical informatics specialist for a clinic in Dayton before coming to medical school. As a student, she has been actively engaged as a peer leader for the School of Medicine Academic Enrichment Center and a volunteer for the Community Care Clinics. In recognition of her outstanding academic performance as well as her exceptional commitment to patient care, Lauren was inducted into both the Gold Humanism and AOA Honor Societies.
