Lee was a D1 soccer player at the University of South Carolina, transferring to William and Mary where he graduated with a degree in Physiology. After college, Lee worked as a scribe for an Ophthalmology practice in Norfolk. As a medical student, Lee has been committed to health prevention and served in multiple leadership roles with the Medical Society of Virginia, including as an officer with the medical student section executive committee. He has been committed to volunteer and service, working as the HOPES student clinic Director of Patient Services. In recognition of his outstanding academic performance, Lee was inducted into the AOA Honor Society.
