Sean Chambers, MD
About
Sean is from Colorado and grew up working full time jobs throughout high school and college, balancing work with leadership roles and classes (with a double major in biology and chemistry). After college, Sean worked as a pharmacy technician and later as a medical scribe while also volunteering as an ESL tutor and serving as a mentor for at risk high school students. As a medical student, he worked on a project to understand the effect of the CDC opioid guidelines on substance reduction between insurance types and the barriers to implementing a controlled substance safety committee in primary care practices. Sean has been an active volunteer with the Big Brothers Big Sisters program, working with underserved high school students. He is looking forward to coming to North Carolina as he has family in Raleigh and his wife鈥檚 job is in Durham!
