After graduating from UVA with a degree in Statistics, Tripti worked as a senior research analyst for an Advisory Board in DC with a focus on identifying post-hospital discharge care and services for older adults. This work has continued to guide her interests in medical school as she has been drawn to caring for older adults, especially those who are hospitalized frequently. She has served as a member of the Diversity Action Committee, acted as a leader for the Racism and Health elective, and is a student representative for the Aging Section of the Diversity Design Team which is tasked with identifying sources of bias in the preclinical curriculum. She also volunteered with Hospice and has served as a program leader for the Opening Minds Through Arts program for patients with Dementia. Tripti is looking forward to being closer to family in Virginia and knows Chapel Hill well as her sister attended the 大象传媒 School of Pharmacy
