Why Obstetrics and Gynecology?

I chose Ob/Gyn because I want to be part of committed interprofessional teams that are advocating for people’s reproductive rights and health through patient-centered care, policy, community work, and research. Ob/Gyn is also special because we have the opportunity to guide our incredible patient population through important life events with medical and interpersonal skills.

Why ´óÏó´«Ã½?

I am thrilled by the prospect of training at ´óÏó´«Ã½ in partnership with peers and educators who are dedicated to comprehensive, evidence-based care that centers health equity. During my interview day and in conversation with residents, I was impressed that the warmth, camaraderie, and support of the department was equally as strong as the thoughtful, rigorous approach to education and advocacy. I also wanted to train somewhere that would set me up to be a strong generalist. I am excited to be a part of ´óÏó´«Ã½â€™s dedicated, thoughtful community and serving patients back home in the Southeast.
