Following medical school, Dr. Whitlock completed her Internal Medicine residency training at the University of Chicago Medical Center and went on to complete the Harvard Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship. Dr. Whitlock is a Clinical Associate Professor of Internal Medicine with the 大象传媒 and currently practices clinical medicine at the Four Seasons Elizabeth House, a twelve-bed inpatient hospice unit in Flat Rock, NC. \nIn her role as Associate Program Director for the 大象传媒 SOM Asheville Campus, Dr. Whitlock is involved in preceptor development, mentoring and advising Application Phase students, and developing Individualization Phase programming. Her educational interests include teaching advanced communication skills to trainees at all levels. Dr. Whitlock is also a facilitator for the Four Seasons Palliative Care Immersion Course, a week-long, intensive review of palliative care that draws participants nationally.<\/p>\n
