Federal Funding Updates and Transitions

OoR Internal Funding for Delayed and Terminated Grants:

  • Parachute Fund (PF): Targeted support for R01/R35, U, and P competitive renewals with fundable scores but no NOA due to federal delays.

Postdocs: Funding Resources and Fellowships

Appeal Process for Award Terminations:

  • Some federal agencies are ending awards early due to shifting priorities. When appeals are allowed, PIs may request a review. The Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) and the OVCR have outlined a formal appeal process to support these requests and ensure alignment with university policies.

Mentor List for Impacted Faculty: Contact information and expertise of Departmental Vice Chairs for Research and OoR Assistant/Associate Research Deans to support research pivots and collaborations.

Office of Faculty Affairs and Leadership Development (FALD) Resources: FALD offers a dynamic portfolio of programs designed to support faculty growth through skill-building, reflection, and connection.
