My clinical focus is pediatric anesthesia and pediatric pain medicine. I am heavily involved in education and curriculum development. Additionally, I am involved in faculty development. Some research interests include virtual reality therapy in pediatrics, and Enhanced Recovery after Surgery efforts in pediatric surgery. As a faculty member on the pediatric pain and regional service, I am also interested in implementing opioid sparing techinques in children by utilizing regional anesthesia techniques.
