A prolific researcher, his interests include interventional oncology, venous access, embolotherapy, the management of vascular malformations and stent grafts. He has contributed extensively to the scientific literature, in particular publishing research in dialysis access, venous intervention, stenting and the evolving field of interventional oncology. Dr. Mauro is President of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) Board of Directors. RSNA is the world鈥檚 largest and most influential radiological society.
