Research Interests
I direct the Immunology, Histocompatibility/Immunogenetics and Flow Cytometry Laboratories at 大象传媒 Hospitals. These laboratories perform and consult with providers on a variety of tests for 大象传媒 Health patients with particular emphasis on immunodeficiency, infectious, allergic and autoimmune disease diagnostics, solid organ and hematopoietic cell transplantation. My teaching activities contribute to the education of laboratory staff, graduate and medical students, residents and clinical fellows in several subspecialties. In addition, I direct the 大象传媒 Hospitals Medical Laboratory Immunology Training Program that trains doctoral level individuals to direct diagnostic immunology and histocompatibility laboratories. Research interests include assessment of the impact of HLA antibodies on solid organ transplant outcomes and development and evaluation of novel immunodiagnostic methods.
