TJ O鈥橬eill
I have been at 大象传媒 in 2007 when I arrived here for my Internal Medicine residency. I am currently in the middle of a 4 year Cardiology Fellowship and am completing the 2 year research portion in Dr Taylor鈥檚 lab. In July 2012, I will start my 2 years of clinical cardiology training. Before coming to 大象传媒 I received my M.D./Ph.D. at the University of Virginia, 2007 where I worked with Dr Tom Skalak and Dr Gary Owens on a project studying the role of bone marrow derived cells in hypoxia-mediated angiogenesis and arteriogenesis.
I am currently studying the growth and proliferation of cardiomyocytes in the neonatal mouse heart and the relationship to human heart disease, in particular the regulation of Focal Adhesion Kinase (FAK).
