Congratulations to Jonathan Schisler, PhD, on being named Most Praised Mentor at 大象传媒 Pharmacology and 大象传媒 McAllister Heart Institute!

Our very own Jonathan Schisler,聽PhD, and Leon Coleman, MD, PhD, along with the associate director of the Neuroscience Center, Ben Philpot, PhD, were awarded a five-year $675,000 grant to lead a summer undergraduate experience program.

The wearable patch, called the Spatiotemporal On-Demand Patch (SOP), can receive commands wirelessly from a smartphone or computer to schedule and trigger the release of drugs from individual microneedles.

The article highlights their work using the protein-structure-prediction tool AlphaFold to identify potential new receptor ligands.
