We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Jude Samuski is awarded as an Alumni Distinguished Professor, effective immediately on July 1st of 2023.

Zoe McElligott, PhD, was one of three 大象传媒 addiction medicine researchers featured in Vital Signs. This translational research team is battling the opioid epidemic by analyzing the ever-changing composition of street drugs and testing how emerging drug combination such as xylazine and fentanyl interact in rodent models.

Dr. Sandroni,聽of聽Brian Jensen's Lab, successfully defended his PhD thesis, "The Alpha-1A Adrenergic Receptor Regulates Oxidative Metabolism in the Mouse Heart" on June 26.

Congratulations to Graydon (Grey) Gereau, graduate student from the McElligott lab, on his FIRST first-author paper exploring neurotensin transmission through the brain-body connection!

The competitive award will fund their project titled, "Development of a Novel Platform Approach to Expand the Degradable Proteome." Congratulations to all!

Dr. Altinok鈥痵uccessfully defended her thesis鈥�鈥淒omain-Specific Changes in CHIP Function Explain Distinct Clinical Features in SCA48 Patients鈥濃�痮n June 6.

Liz Brunk, Ph.D., was featured in an article on CyVerse for her ground breaking development of Jupyter notebooks to facilitate learning through 3D imaging and hands-on experience.

Dr. Samulski received the Sune Berstr枚m award for his pioneering work in gene therapy and adeno-associated virus vectors in the field of pharmacology and molecular virology.
