Talk Title: Not Just A Hashtag: Truly Integrating #Innovation Concepts in Image-Guided Medicine<\/i><\/strong><\/p>\n

Zachary L. Bercu, MD RPVI FSIR, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Radiology at Emory University School of Medicine (Emory) and an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Wallace H. Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech). He is Program Director of the Interventional Radiology Integrated and Independent residency programs at Emory. He serves as Co-Director of a Resident Medical Innovation Track to teach biodesign and innovation to Emory and Morehouse School of Medicine residents. He is faculty principal investigator to the Biodesign & Innovation of Minimally-Invasive Technologies (BIMIT) Lab at Emory. His research interests include medical device innovation, advanced imaging solutions in the angiosuite, percutaneous and endovascular robotics, prostate artery embolization, transradial interventions, liver directed therapies including Yttrium-90 selective internal radiotherapy, complex venous interventions, and image-guided pain\/palliation interventions.<\/i><\/p>\n
