Sent out by OSP Communications on April 3, 2025<\/a><\/p>\n The Office of Sponsored Programs<\/a> (OSP) and Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research<\/a> (OVCR) have issued new guidance on the Appeal Process for Award Terminations<\/a>. This guidance outlines the process for how Principal Investigators (PI) may appeal termination decisions when that option is offered by the federal agency. The University will evaluate appeal decisions in accordance with all relevant policies and legal authorities.<\/p>\n Complete an OSP Appeal of Termination Request Form<\/a> – department head and school\/division dean approval required.<\/p>\n Second Step: Post-Approval Action<\/strong><\/p>\n Complete an OSP Appeal Package Submission Online Form<\/a> – appeal package finalized in collaboration with the Department\/PI and OSP\/OVCR.
