General Surgery Residents
大象传媒 General Surgery residents rotate on both the thoracic (post-graduate year 1) and cardiac (post-graduate year 2) surgery services.
Resident physicians learn and participate in the pre- and post-operative care of thoracic surgery patients. This experience introduces residents to many of the critical-care skills necessary to manage a broad spectrum of very ill patients. Surgical components include sternotomy, cannulation, bronchoscopy, and first assistant skills for cardiac procedures.
