That's what doctors initially thought Helen Nance was suffering from. Her primary doctor listened to her complaints of nausea and did an ultrasound. The tests were inconclusive, so they set up an endoscopy for the following day. That way, doctors could use a camera to look down her esophagus to see what was going on.
